At ASPO, we believe there is always something new to learn, whether you are just starting your organizing business or have years of experience.

Our Continuing Education Credit (CEC) System recognizes your commitment to ongoing learning, professional growth, and connection within the ASPO community.

Learning Opportunity = Credit earned

  • Attend a one-hour Continuing Education session live = 2 credits

  • Participate in a one-hour Virtual Chapter meeting = 1 credit

  • Watch a recorded Continuing Education session = 0.5 credit

How do I earn credits?

Participate in eligible ASPO educational opportunities throughout our membership year.

Each session may be counted once. Watching the recording of a session you attended live does not earn additional credits.

When does my credit year begin?

Your credit year follows your individual ASPO membership cycle, rather than the calendar year.

You accumulate credits during your current membership year. When your membership renews, your current cycle total starts again at zero. Your lifetime learning history remains on record, so you can look back at your participation over time.

Credits do not carry over into your next membership year.

How is my participation tracked?

For live sessions, we confirm your attendance through Zoom attendance reports.

For the recorded sessions, please email us the CE series title and the date you watched it so we can verify your participation through Vimeo and add your credits.
